Flexo PPS Ryton expandable sleeving is used in high temperature, flame resistant wire harnesses and cable assemblies. Flexo PPS Ryton is an extremely lightweight sleeving, resistant to high temperatures and virtually impervious to solvents. Flexo PPS Ryton is ideal for aerospace, telecom and military applications and meets many engineering goals including; chemical resistance, high temperature stability, low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability and ultra-low wear.
Flexo PPS Ryton is braided from 0,2 mm flame resistant PolyPhenylene Sulfide (PPS) monofilament fibers. Flexo PPS Ryton offers the broadest resistance to chemicals of any advanced engineering plastic. The material resists all known solvents below 200 °C and is inert to steam, strong bases, fuels and acids.
